Emory Healthcare Inspires Dads to Be Healthy

When teams and their players speak authentically on behalf of their healthcare partners it can inspire entire communities to tackle important health challenges and live healthier lives.

This was evident when six years ago, with Excel Sports Management through their representation of Eli Manning, we developed Tackle Kids Cancer at Hackensack Meridian Health. With Eli at the helm, speaking on behalf of children with cancer, their families and the research needed to find a cure, individuals, grassroots organizations, corporate partners and the New York Giants came together to raise millions of dollars along with awareness for the cause.

Similarly, last year, with Excel through their representation of Matt Ryan, we developed Healthy ATL with Emory Healthcare. As the captain and face of the Atlanta Falcons, and Emory Healthcare being the leading healthcare system in Atlanta and team healthcare provider, it was the perfect partnership platform for Matt to use his reverence, relatability, and leadership to inspire a healthier community. In 2020, the partnership launched with Healthy ATL, an initiative to raise money and awareness for programs to close the health disparity gap faced across the state of Georgia and even nationwide.

This week, we’re excited to see the next iteration of this amazing partnership come to life through the launch of the Healthy Dad’s Initiative. With our partners at Emory Healthcare, their Agency of Record - SPM, Emory’s local agency partners - Vee Media, Denise Wingate and Pixel Recess, the Healthy Dad’s Initiative is anchored by the same core values and strategic approach –  to encourage and inspire healthy actions amongst a demographic who could relate to Matt.

The new campaign is rooted in TV and radio to run in the Falcons broadcast and will be supported through various extensions within team and Emory owned digital, social and game assets, bringing a holistic approach driven by an incredible collaborative effort across multiple groups.
